The Kind Hearts for Kids Leadership Team
Founder & Executive Director
Nicole is a wife and mom to 3 kids. She enjoys baking, and is fueled by her passion to show children and teens kindness during challenging times. After helping friends with their non-profits (serving children), and developing “Project Kindness” through her baking business, she discovered she wanted and needed to do more.
After moving from UT to MA in 2018, she was able to achieve her dream of founding her own nonprofit, Kind Hearts for Kids, with overwhelming support from her local community.
Assistant Volunteer Coordinator
Sue brings her passion for helping children and families with her to Kind Hearts for Kids. Sue is a devoted wife and mom to 3 grown kids and has worked in Finance, Human Resources, and is an avid volunteer with experience in Social Services and Childcare. She has worked as a Preschool Volunteer and loved working as an Elementary School Substitute teacher most recently. Her nickname is Bizzisue and you can usually find her in the midst of entertaining large gatherings for friends and family.
Dr. Lorraine Marasco Schratz is a pediatric cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children with offices on Cape Cod, and in Foxboro, Worcester and Boston. During her career, she has been inspired by the foster and kinship care parents she has met, who take care of the most vulnerable and sweet children. She has been a part of Kind Hearts for Kids since its start in 2019, and is so happy to be a part of this organization that brings joy to these families.
Kelly Snover has been involved with Kind Hearts for Kids as Secretary since January of 2019. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Sports/Event/Entertainment management with a concentration in Non-profits from Johnson and Wales University (Providence RI) in 2013, she found herself drawn to wanting to help change the future. Kelly met Nicole through a contest with her cupcake business in late 2018 and the rest is history.
Regis is an active community volunteer who is energetic, positive & pragmatic. In his role as global business executive, Regis has significant experience in Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Organizational Development and Building Partnerships. He has seen the positive impact Kind Hearts for Kids has on the local community and is excited to be part of this cause-related organization. have.
Darrin is a supportive husband and dad to 3 kids. He was so amazed with Nicole's passion to found a non-profit dedicated to showing kindness to kids that he had to jump in and help. He brings his years of retail and warehouse inventory management experience to the team. Darrin enjoys being a part of this organization dedicated to seeing smiles on faces and excitement in eyes.
Community Outreach Coordinator
Kathy Raymond is an educator, mother, small business owner and nature-based enthusiast. Born and
raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Kathy has called Cape Cod home since 1990. In 2008, she became
owner of Montessori Beginnings. Kathy has strong community connections (Kind Hearts for Kids, Sandwich Community Partnership,
Rotary, Board Member-Cape Cod Toy Library), and has donated time, space, and resources to give back.
Volunteering since 2020, she joined the KH4K Board in September 2022. Enjoying the community
outreach part of her position, she especially loves connecting people to and with organizations.
